I grew up on the border in South Texas and picked up a camera at a young age because like a lot of 90’s kids, I wanted to be a National Geographic photographer. That didn’t quite pan out, but I did attend UT Austin, where I completed my photojournalism degree in 2009.
I spent 8 years in NYC thereafter and loved every minute of it. Most of my work was commercial, but I also shot weddings, portraits, and events. By pure coincidence I left New York the day before the first confirmed covid case, escaping with my best friend and every vinyl record I owned in a van headed for Austin.
Now I work full-time as a Creative Content Specialist for UT Health Austin, which is the clinical practice of the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. Please reach out with any inquiries. I’d love to hear from you!
